Three FMX's Delivered

Three FMX's Delivered
2009 is now well underway, and so are FMX deliveries. In late December, we delivered the first Redbird FMX, quickly followed by two more deliveries in January. The first FMX went to Austin Academy of Aviation, a Cessna Pilot Center located at Austin Bergstrom International Airport, in Austin, TX. Equipped as a C172 glass, the FMX allows Austin Academy of Aviation to train their students to fly a G1000 before they are cleared to fly the aircraft. In early January we installed the second FMX in Allentown, PA at Lehigh Carbon Community College. The LCCC aviation department offers associate degree programs for professional pilots and for aviation sciences. They opted for a C172 with a standard, steam gauge configuration, planning to use their FMX to help offset training hours for their students, and to train maneuvers that can not safely be executed in an actual aircraft. The third was delivered to another Cessna Pilot Center, North Florida Flight Training located at Craig Municipal Airport in Jacksonville, FL. North Florida Flight Training operates a wide variety of aircraft, many of which are equipped with the Garmin G1000, and their fleet is constantly growing. Therefore, they also chose the C172 Glass configuration enabling them to offer glass cockpit simulation training to their students. In the coming year we will be travelling across the United States installing new Redbird simulators in flight schools, universities and simulator centers. As it stands, 2009 is going to be a very busy year. If you would like to secure a production slot for a new full-motion FMX, contact us by either emailing info@redbirdflight.com or by calling (512) 301-0718.
